Overview

The Aquatic Toxins Program has been developing policy documents for providing guidance to communities, DOH County Health Departments (CHDs), State agencies, and other governmental organizations in responding to harmful algal blooms, their associated toxins and the public health impacts and implications.

The goal of these materials is to provide harmful algae education to the citizens of Florida, other interested people, DOH county health department professionals and health care providers.
