Residential Radon Data by Zip Code

In response to the need of individuals and companies for radon data in Florida, the department has produced radon data by postal zip codes. Radon data has been generated from monthly reports by state certified radon measurement businesses, and from compliance reports by facilities required to test for radon under Florida Statute 404.056.

This radon data does NOT represent a scientific or statistical survey; therefore, it should be interpreted with caution. This data may provide an indication of the radon potential in a zip code area if a large enough and properly distributed number of buildings have been tested and reported for the area. This data cannot be used to predict the radon level in a specific building. The only way to know if a building has an elevated radon level is to test.

** If you are going to present or interpret this data to others, by searching, you agree to include the generated report with your presentation or interpretation. **
